This caused a discharge of water to flood the main level of our residence. I ran outside and turned off the water at the main tap by the street. It was approximately 3 am. We just paid 30+ thousand to remodel kitchen and the entire main level with flooring, drywall and kitchen cabinets. My wife was on pins and needles. Also, the house was brand new by 3 months. We ripped the builder grade flooring, cabinets, etc..out, only 10 days following the closing. It seems the plumbing company who installed the island sink used a plastic fitting for the supply line. The garages also flooded.
Within 9 hours, the garage, island and all flooring and walls on main level were dry! We did not even have to involve our new insurance policy. Wow! This was a miracle!
